International Undergraduate Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:
For Freshmen:
- An international student with a valid visa
- A grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale)
- A combined SAT score of 1020 or higher (ACT composite score of 20)
- Enrollment at the University of Michigan-Dearborn for full-time degree-seeking
- Renewable with a 3.0 GPA at UM-Dearborn
- A minimum score of 6.5 is required for IELTS, TOEFL (IBT-80, CBT-213, PBT-550), or MELAB (76).
For Transfers:
- Students with valid visas who are international students
- 3.5 GPA (4.0 scale)
- Enrollment at the University of Michigan-Dearborn for full-time degree-seeking
- With a 3.0 GPA at UM-Dearborn, the award will be renewable
- A minimum score of 6.5 is required for IELTS, TOEFL (IBT-80, CBT-213, PBT-550), or MELAB (76).
Please note that if you have earned less than 24 transferrable credits, you must also submit:
- 1020 or higher on the SAT (ACT composite score of 20)
- Transcripts of High School
- An English Language Proficiency test score of 6.5 is required in IELTS, TOEFL (IBT-80, CBT-213, PBT-550), or MELAB (76).
